The voice of Moroccan women

When we think of the first generation of Moroccans who came to Belgium between the 60s and 70s, we often think of immigrant workers, but the stories of Moroccan women are often overlooked or barely known. This documentary tells the story of Fatima Fakir and Sfia Bouarfa, two women who left their homeland in search for a better future. Lina Benhaj and Oumaima El Harchi wanted to retrace the stories of their elders to shed light on them and reconnect with their history.
